According to reports, Nikon is working hard to develop its first movie camera product, which supports 8K video recording and has a Z mount/optional PL mount. Currently: The prototype of the new camera is being tested, and the design is inspired by the RED V-Raptor movie camera. It is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2025.


Depending on the progress of research and development, the release time may be postponed to the first quarter of 2026.
