FR broke the news that according to reliable sources, Fuji's new GFX fixed-lens medium-format camera is expected to be officially released in Fuji's fiscal year 2024. The specific time is expected to be the first quarter of 2025, in March or before March. And this camera will be named: Fujifilm GFX100RF.
Apparently, if the rumors are true, RF stands for Rangefinder; GFX100 would likely indicate that the GFX100RF has the same 100MP sensor as the Fujifilm GFX100.
It is reported that the size of Fuji's GFX fixed-lens medium-format new machine is similar to that of Fuji's X-Pro3 camera. It is inspired by the popularity of Fuji's X100VI. It may be equipped with a fixed lens equivalent to about 28mm, and the maximum aperture may be F3.2 (not yet confirmed). It is likely to be launched in March 2025.
