Canon will release 3 new hybrid RF L lenses on October 30th

Canon earlier announced via email that it would release three new hybrid L lenses on October 30.

"Hybrid" is Canon's term for lenses that can shoot both photos and videos.

Canon hid three of the lenses in the shadows and did not directly announce the specific models of these three lenses. However, we can still guess the approximate models.

One of which is the RF70-200mm F2.8L IS USM Z internal zoom lens we have reported, and the other two fixed-focus lenses are RF24mm F1.4L VCM and RF 50mm F1.4L VCM. In addition, Canon has two new lenses, RF35mm F1.2LUSM and RF 200-500mm F4 L IS USM, which have completed preliminary testing, but are not on the list of new lens releases this time.

The above are all reasonable guesses and cannot be guaranteed to be accurate before the official release.

Canon released quite a few new products throughout 2024, and the release of the new RF mount lenses made up for the lack of third-party lenses.
