Just when we thought 2024 was the year of Canon, sonyalpharumors.com suddenly broke the news that Sony will release a new Alpha camera in late November.

According to SAR’s predictions, this new Alpha camera will be a full-frame camera. No one knows the specific model yet. But according to SAR news, it is most likely A1II.

There is also news that a new lens will be released simultaneously. Maybe the 24-70mm f/2.0 GM2.

Sony did not release any new "non-professional" cameras this year except for the Sony ZVE10II. This seems to be a tacit understanding among Japanese camera manufacturers. When one manufacturer launches a new product, the other manufacturers will not release too many important products at the same time in order to compete in different positions. 2024 is coming to an end. This year is undoubtedly the year of Canon. We have also predicted and reported on many products released by Canon, such as: Canon will release 3 new hybrid RF L lenses on October 30th.
