Sigma announced the Canon RF-mount 16mm F1.4 DC DN, the 23mm F1.4 DC DN, the 30mm F1.4 DC DN and the 56mm F1.4 DC DN on November 21. On Canon's APS-C cameras, the lenses deliver full-frame equivalent focal lengths of 26mm, 37mm, 48mm, and 90mm, respectively.
These four APS-C prime lenses are all old models, the only difference is that they are replaced with Canon RF-mount. Although they are not newly designed lenses, they make up for the lack of large aperture prime lenses for Canon RF-mount APS-C cameras to some extent. Combined with previous rumors, Canon will release the Canon R7 mark2 as the flagship model of Canon APS-C next year, and it is a reasonable choice to add large aperture prime lenses at this point in time.
