Since Pentax confirmed that it was still developing a new DSLR camera in 2023, rumors about the Pentax K1 MK III have never stopped. New DSLR cameras are really exciting, and now there are finally credible Pentax K1 mark3 features.

According to rumors, the Pentax K1 mark III will have:

SAFOX 14 autofocus system

New full-frame sensor from Sony, guessing it's a 61M BSI CMOS megapixel sensor

4K (and higher) video

USB C 3.2 connection

Joystick

Touchscreen

New smart features

Bluetooth/WiFi

New control software for mobile phones (with live view)

Built-in GPS

Built-in Astrotracer

Optical viewfinder

Production in Vietnam in October

LCD display with slightly higher resolution than the K1 III

Battery is the same as the K1 II, 645Z and other Pentaxes

Two CF Express slots

If the rumors are true, the big question is whether the lenses for the K mount can match the optical quality of the 61M megapixel sensor. Pentax K mount lenses are very beautiful, but few people have put them to such a high megapixel camera to test them. Because Pentax has never produced a camera body with such a high megapixel count before ,Pentax's previous flagship DSLR, the Pentax K1 II, only had 36 megapixels.

Of course if you have a lens with another mount and want to mount it on the Pentax K1 mark3, you can purchase the K&F CONCEPT Pentax K mount adapter ring.
