Although production has been expanded, only 15,000 units can be produced per month, and it is expected to take "several months" to meet market demand. A year later, the company is still digesting a large number of orders.

"Compared with the previous generation, our production capacity has doubled and is continuing to increase. The monthly output has exceeded 15,000 units, but it cannot double again." The general manager of the professional imaging group of Fujifilm's imaging business department said at the CP+ exhibition.

"The production process of X100VI is complicated, especially the manufacturing process of parts such as the top cover is delicate, which makes it difficult to expand production quickly."

Although the annual shipment volume of X100VI has reached the total volume of the previous model in three or four years, the first batch of orders is too large, causing many users to still have to wait for 8-10 months. "We fully understand the users' anxiety and are working hard to produce. We hope that everyone will wait patiently and avoid buying high-priced products from scalpers."

Fujifilm emphasized that the phenomenon of high-priced resale in the second-hand market is serious. The company does not want users to encourage such behavior and promised to clear the backlog of orders as soon as possible.
