Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z confirmed

Recently, the Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z has been confirmed through leaks in some media and sightings at the just past Paris Olympics.

The RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z was originally scheduled to be released at the end of June, but apparently it didn’t happen. It will most likely end up being released sometime in the fourth quarter of this year. Hopefully the sooner the better.

There isn’t any reliable news yet to confirm how different this lens is from the legendary EF 70-200mm f/2.8, but I’m sure many Canon RF mount users are looking forward to the release of this lens. We have heard many versions of rumors about the release time. None of the news is completely accurate, but it is expected to be officially released in the last quarter of this year.
