Canon made a big splash in 2024, launching a new full-frame mirrorless camera and multiple RF lenses. According to canonrumors, in addition to the highly anticipated R6III, the APS-C flagship R7 Mark II will also be launched. The time has not yet been determined.

According to rumors, the Canon R7 Mark II will use a partially stacked sensor. It is not clear whether it will use a new CMOS, but there are rumors that the EOS R7 Mark II will be going "up market". It may be an increase in the number of megapixels or the ability to record 8K video.

There will be two new RF-S lenses in 2025. According to rumors, they will be two constant aperture zoom lenses, but won't be L lenses.

Canon APS-C mirrorless cameras seem to lack some powerful enough lens groups at present. Due to the limitation of Mount, the selection of RF-S lenses is relatively limited. However, you can purchase the K&F CONCEPT RF mount adapter to allow lenses of other mounts to be used on Canon APS-C mirrorless cameras.
